A writer has appealed at High Court to seek a stay on Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak. Rakesh Bharti claims that he had written similar script in 2015. The film is based on an acid attack survivor’s story. In his appeal filed Rakesh mentions that his movie was tentatively titled Black Day also registered with Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association in February 2015. The plea will be heard by the high court on December 27.
