For the past few weeks, Kamal Haasan’s Vikram has broken several box office records. Despite having recently grossed Rs 300 crore at the box office worldwide, the film is still doing well.
The film’s fantastic theatrical run is expected to continue for atleast a week. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is a high-octane action thriller.
KAMAL HAASAN’S VIKRAM CONTINUES ITS DREAM RUN
This is indeed a huge milestone as no other film had achieved it in the last five years.
We had earlier reported that Vikram breached the Rs 300 crore-mark worldwide a few days ago. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan pointed out that Rajinikanth has three films that achieved the same, while Kamal Haasan has one to his credit.
Vikram is not only a major hit in Tamil Nadu, but also in Telugu states. The film is currently in the profit zone as it managed to earn Rs 15.03 crore in 16 days. A Twitter page wrote, “#Vikram 16 Days Telugu Collections 15.03Cr -Double Block Buster 7.50Cr Break Even – 7.53Cr PROFIT (sic).”
