Chandigarh, October 30 ( P2P): Punjab Vigilance Bureau has started an investigation against another former Congress minister Vijay Inder Singla. According to the sources, the vigilance team has started an investigation against this former minister in the case of excess income from sources.
According to the vigilance officials, facts are being collected regarding the affairs of this minister and further action will be taken after the investigation is completed. According to sources, Vigilance is also preparing a list of officers who were close to Singla during his ministerial tenure. Vijay Inder Singla was the Minister of Public Works during both the Congress governments led by Captain Amarinder Singh and Charanjit Singh Channi.
Vigilance sources say that after the change of power, various complaints were received against the former Minister of Public Works and after inspecting all the complaints, a vigilance inquiry was registered and an investigation into the matter of disproportionate assets.
