Snow fell for the third time this season in Uttarakhand’s Darma Valley near the China border.

14 villages in the Darma valley and seven villages in the Vyas valley have been affected by the cold, due to the more than one foot of snow that has fallen here.
A foot of snow fell in the low-lying Darma Valley and more than four feet in the mountains at an altitude of 17,500 feet, the last outpost near the China border. Border checkpoints are guarded by security force personnel in extreme circumstances. The border was patrolled by security forces on Monday when the weather cleared.

Additionally, more than one foot of snow fell in Dhaka and Bidang Chowki in Darma Valley at an altitude of more than 10,000 feet. As a result of the snowfall on October 2, 14 villages in the high Himalayan Darma valley and seven villages in the Beas valley have experienced bitter cold.
Palti, paffar, and other crops have also been harvested in both valleys. Starting in the first week of November, people from both valleys will come to the lower valley.While it rained in the lower valley of the Beas Valley on October 2, snow fell in Jyolicang, Nabhidhang, Om Parvat, Adi Kailash and Panchachuli.
