Bengaluru and Hyderabad will be the next cities to get Reliance Jio’s 5G services from November 10. Jio will start offering Unlimited Data at speeds up to 1 Gbps+ in Bengaluru and Hyderabad today, the company announced.
There have already been successful beta launches of Jio’s 5G services in six cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Varanasi, and Nathdwara (Rajasthan).
According to Jio, the launch of 5G in Bengaluru and Hyderabad will contribute to maximizing some of the latest technologies for the benefit of humanity and improve the quality of life for Indians.
In order to ensure the best customer experience, Jio is rolling out its advanced True-5G services phase-by-phase.
A large number of users across six cities have already tested Jio’s 5G services, which have received extremely positive and reassuring responses.
According to Jio, customer insights and feedback are helping it build the world’s most advanced 5G network.
On their smartphones, Jio users are experiencing speeds between 500 Mbps and 1 Gbps, and are consuming huge amounts of data seamlessly.
This achievement can be attributed to Jio’s three-fold advantage, according to the telecom company.
It features a stand-alone 5G architecture, an advanced 5G network without dependency on 4G networks, the largest and best mix of 5G spectrum available across 700 MHz, 3500 MHz, and 26 GHz bands, and carrier aggregation, which integrates 5G frequencies seamlessly into one robust “data highway” through the use of an advanced technology known as carrier aggregation.
