The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Civil Services Preliminary Examination will be held in Indore (Madhya Pradesh) on Sunday.
On Sunday, the Indian Forest Service Examination-2022 will also take place.
It will be conducted in two sessions. The first session will take place from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.
The city has set up 43 testing centers. A total of 17,286 candidates from the city will take part in the exam. An admit card and proof of identification must be brought to the center one hour prior to the start time. The candidates will be able to bring a black ballpoint pen, a transparent water bottle, and a sanitizer bottle. During the exam, it is mandatory to wear a mask. The UPSC conducts this exam to select officers for civil services like the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), the Indian Police Service (IPS), and the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). About 8 lakh candidates from all over the country appear in this recruitment exam each year.
