Punjabi singers Babbu Maan, Mankirt Aulakh, Dilpreet Dhillon, and Vicky Middukheda’s brother Ajay Pal Middukhera have been summoned for questioning by the Mansa police.
Nanak Singh, the SSP for Mansa, said Punjabi singers were summoned and would be interrogated. It is not possible to disclose the date of their summons due to security concerns.
After Moosewala’s death, Aulakh faced heat on social media after allegedly engaging in multiple online spats with Maan.
Aulakh has already been questioned by the police once.
Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur met DGP Gaurav Yadav at the Police Headquarters in Chandigarh nearly a month ago. According to his father, music industry people were responsible for his son’s murder. The Mansa police, however, did not mention any singer in a 1,850-page chargesheet.
The National Investigation Agency has questioned Aulakh, Dhillon, B Praak, Afsana Khan and Jenny Johal.
In Mansa district, six shooters killed Moosewala on May 29. A police encounter resulted in the arrest of four of the six shooters, while two were killed.
