Assisting linesman positions in Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) have been increased to 2,000 from 1,690 previously advertised.

In an advertisement, PSPCL had invited online applications for 1,690 assistant linesman posts, but now the number had been raised to 2,000.

Candidates eligible for the position could apply through the online process until September 20. As part of the recruitment process, the department has also issued a helpline number (96461-15646). “Candidates can contact the helpline anytime between 9 am and 5 pm if they encounter any problems while applying online,” the minister said.

The department website had been updated with detailed information regarding the posts, he added. For the posts, there will also be an online test, in which the general category will require a minimum of 25 percent and the reserved category will require a minimum of 20 percent.
