Navjot Singh Sidhu, a cricketer-turned-politician, met former Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal today at Patiala Central Jail. After meeting Sidhu on December 9, former PCC president Shamsher Singh Dullo met him a week later.
Sidhu is said to be in contact with the party high command at the time of the meetings. Following his release, Priyanka Gandhi reportedly offered him a “crucial” responsibility in a letter he “received”.
