According to Reuters, the first sequel to blockbuster movie Avatar will focus on protecting family and expand the world of Pandora that enchanted audiences a decade ago.
The release date of James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water has been set for December. Earlier this week, Walt Disney Co will release in cinemas a remastered version of the original 2009 film.
Pandora is a moon where humans and blue Na’vi people battle for natural resources in the first Avatar movie.
In The Way of Water, Worthington’s Jake Sully and Saldana’s Neytiri are parents trying to protect their children.
