A teacher and principal at a school in Jangaon, Telangana, were arrested on Wednesday by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
An attendant at Telangana Model School, Narmetta village, Gaddam Renuka, the complainant’s wife, offered them a bribe. Basically, they accepted the bribe for doing an official favour, such as not harassing the complainant at work and sending the attendance/invoice to the out-sourcing agency.
The teacher’s possessions contained the bribe amount.
The accused persons were both arrested and brought before the First Addl. SPE & ACB Special Judge, Hyderabad.
