Salman Khan, a Bollywood superstar known for his generosity, is widely known in New Delhi. His memories of his old days and how various industry people helped him during his tough times were displayed at the 22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA Awards).
In a recent interview, actor Suniel Shett revealed that once he didn’t have enough money to buy a shirt, so he gifted it to him. Salman got emotional as Suniel’s son Ahaan Shetty walked near him, recalling the incident. Upon seeing Salman, Ahaan hugged him.
There was a time when I didn’t have a lot of money. I only had enough to be able to buy one shirt and jeans. During that time, a new fashion trend had come about and that was stone-washed jeans. I was out shopping and at a very popular store I saw stone-washed denim jeans and shirt. I only had money enough to buy the jeans and I left the shirt alone. Suniel Shetty, who was with me in the store, noticed that I didn’t have money to buy it, so he bought the shirt and gifted it to me, Salman shared at the IIFA awards.
