This first award will be given to singer Glory Bawa, daughter of singer Gurmeet Bawa

Amritsar, July 10 ( P2P ) Great Sports Culture Club (India) will start the award in the name of late singer Gurmeet Bawa in the annual program “Saman Dhiyan Da” which will be held on August 29 in Amritsar.

Navdeep Singh Sahota, National President of Great Sports Culture Club (India) and members of the club along with the family of Gurmeet Bawa shared the idea of starting this award on which Gurmeet Bawa’s husband Kirpal Singh Bawa and daughter singer Glory Bawa proposed and approved the initiation of this award for which Club Press Secretary Savinder Singh and Advisor Gurpreet Singh Sandhu thanked him. It is worth noting that this award will be given every year to a person who has achieved a place in his culture and heritage along with folk songs.

Singer Glory Bawa said that we thank the whole team of the Bawa family Great Sports Culture Club (India). Gurmeet Bawa was also a resident of Guru Nagar and the award in his name is also being started from the holy land of Amritsar.
