Siddhanth Kapoor, actor Shraddha Kapoor’s brother, arrested in Bengaluru on suspicion of drug abuse


Siddhanth Kapoor, brother of Shraddha Kapoor, was arrested in Bengaluru by the Bengaluru Police on Sunday night for allegedly consuming drugs at a party.

Police raided a hotel on MG Road where a party was being held after receiving a tip-off. They collected the urine samples of 35 suspects. A total of six samples were positive for Siddhanth Kapoor.ice said it was unclear if they consumed drugs and came to the party or if they consumed them at the hotel.Son of Hindi film star Shakti Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor is also an actor who portrayed the character of Chintu Dedha in the 2020 web series ‘Bhaukaal’. He also acted in several movies, such as ‘Shootout at Wadala’, ‘Ugly, ‘Haseena Parkar’, ‘Chehre’, etc. He also worked as an assistant director in films like ‘Bhagam Bhag’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyya’, and ‘Dhol’.

In the case of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau over alleged possession of drugs. The charges were dropped. Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Deepika Padukone were questioned in September 2020 based on WhatsApp chats found by the NCB during its investigation of the drugs case that came to light after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
