Samrat Prithviraj box office collection day 5: Akshay Kumar’s film continues to suffer

Samrat Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar’s recently released film, seems to be struggling at the box office. Box office expectations were high for the period drama.

Box office performance, however, has been disappointing. The box office for Samrat Prithviraj dropped sharply on its first Tuesday. According to early estimates, the film has earned just Rs 48 crore so far, following a low-key opening of just Rs 10.70 crore. According to reports, the film’s shows are also being cut down, as most of the morning shows saw occupancy rates of only ten percent or less.
