There is a need for a new vision for Punjab. As far as I am concerned, the state hasn’t received a vision from the government. Apparently, people are not getting what they expected. Congress will provide Punjab with a long-term vision.”

In response to a question about RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement that Hindus are naturally aggressive, he said, “I do not know what Hinduism he was quoting.”. According to the Upanishads and the Gita, Hindus should not be aggressive. Humility and compassion are the hallmarks of Hinduism.”
