Producer shares update on Pushpa 2 by Allu Arjun

There have been delays in the production of several Telugu films Due to the ongoing Telugu producers’ strike, the project has been put on hold

There is also Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 or Pushpa: The Rule, which is a sequel to Puspa: The Rise.

Originally, the movie had been scheduled to start filming in the third week of August, but now it has been put on hold. What is the projected start date for filming? Y Ravi Shankar, the producer of Pushpa, confirmed that the company will wait until the strike is called off and the matter is resolved.

Telugu film producers have decided to postpone all film shoots until certain issues are resolved. The rise in production costs, decrease in box office numbers, regulations on ticket prices, and the dominance of OTT platforms are just a few of these factors. As a result, all films, including the most awaited sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, Pushpa: The Rule, are on hold.

What is the expected start date for the shoot? As Y Ravi Shankar told Pinkvilla, “There is a strike going on here in the Telugu industry. Once the strike is over, we will begin from August-end, or whenever the strike is over.”.

In addition, he said, “Now, we cannot shoot because the chamber called a strike for the producer’s issue. There is something internal going on, so we can resume the film once shooting resumes.”
