Yogi Adityanath, the BJP leader in Uttar Pradesh, turned 50 on Sunday (June 5, 2022).
Adityanath, who was born on June 5, 1972, in a village in Uttarakhand, had commenced his political journey in 1998 and had become the youngest MP from Gorakhpur. He was the Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur for five consecutive terms between 1998 and 2017.
Mahant Avaidyanath of Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur claims that he left his home to join the movement for building Ram Temple. Adityanath is also the head priest at the Gorakhnath Math, a Hindu temple in Gorakhpur.
During his stay in Gorakhpur, President Ram Nath Kovind congratulated Adityanath on his birthday. He also shared a picture with UP CM on Twitter.
