During the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 auction in Mumbai today, Mohali all-rounder Amanjot Kaur was picked by Mumbai Indians.
As opposed to a reserve price of Rs 30 lakh, Mumbai Indians paid Rs 50 lakh for Amanjot. Her 21-year-old father is a carpenter, and she was selected for the women’s team tri-series, which includes South Africa and West Indies, in December. Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) player Amanjot studies at MCM DAV College, Sector 36.
