There was no vision or direction in the Union Budget, according to the Congress.
In his remarks, Partap Singh Bajwa of the Opposition said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government had been expected to make some special announcements aimed at providing relief to the common man, but that expectations have been dashed.
“Because this will be the last Budget for the BJP, we were expecting the FM to give something nice as a parting gift, but she disappointed us.” said PCC chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring.
