PTI chief said on Wednesday that the cypher should also be leaked to understand the scale of the “conspiracy” after an audio clip of an alleged conversation between Imran Khan and Azam Khan about the “US conspiracy” was leaked online.

Among a series of audio leaks in Pakistan, a clip allegedly from Khan went viral in which he suggests that his then principal secretary “play” with the cypher issue “without taking the United States’ name”.

The audio appears to show Imran Khan saying, “We’ll play with it,” and Azam Khan suggesting a meeting to bring the US cypher to light.

As reported by The News International, Imran Khan talked about the importance of the audio leak and argued that it would be better if the cypher was also leaked to make everyone aware of how large the foreign conspiracy was.

The PTI government in Pakistan is said to be under attack by the United States, which Imran Khan believes is conspiring to topple it and replace it with Shehbaz Sharif’s government. In response to the leak, Khan claimed Sharif leaked that audio when asked who did so.

As a result of recent audio leaks, Pakistan’s National Security Committee (NSC) has appointed a high-level committee headed by Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to investigate the issue. Rana Sanaullah said Khan destroyed Pakistan’s economy and political culture and had caused irreparable damage to the country, according to Geo News.

In response to a university lecture delivered by Khan, Sanaullah said, “I will show students Imran Khan’s awful face.” He added that there must be a political solution to this “political fitna”.

Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Vice-President Maryam Nawaz appeared in audio clips previously posted online.
