Partap Singh Bajwa, Leader of the Opposition (LoP), expressed serious concerns today about law and order in the state. In his opinion, it is quite worrisome if armed people, including guns and swords, lay siege to the police station.
According to the LoP, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was organising the investors’ summit to woo global corporations while the police personnel were rescuing themselves from a group of people seeking the release of their companion. Farmers have protested outside the Zira ethanol plant for six months, demanding its closure, he said.
