Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar distributed the policy to journalists associated with the organization in a huge program organized at Sant Kabir Kutir, Chief Minister’s residence. More than 450 journalists of the state are associated with the organization, out of which 151 journalists have been insured. Chandrashekhar Dharani told that this was the first phase of getting this insurance policy issued. About three hundred other journalists will also be insured in the second and third phases.
Addressing the program organized at the CM’s residence, Chandrashekhar Dharani said that during the Corona period, journalists performed their responsibilities on every front. He served society even without caring for his life. Many journalists had to lose their lives while doing this noble work for society. He said that the journalist always works for the benefit of society but no one cares about his life. Leaving aside the Corona period, many types of accidents happen with journalists, due to which their families also have to face financial problems.
He said that even during the Corona period, a big economic crisis was seen in front of the families of journalists, which was very necessary to be redressed.
