According to ANI, three terrorists belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian on Wednesday morning. Last evening, there had been an encounter.

According to the police, Hanan Bin Yaqoob and Jamshed, two militants killed in the encounter, were involved in the killing of Javed Dar and a migrant worker in Pulwama a few days ago.

Second Encounter

One terrorist was killed early this morning during an encounter with the security forces in the Moolu area of Shopian. The encounter is ongoing, according to ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar.

In less than 12 hours, there have been two gunfights in the district. Security forces launched a cordon and search operation after receiving specific information about militants in the Moolu area of Shopian district, a police official said.

After militants fired on the forces, who retaliated, the search operation turned into an encounter.
