The visuals from the Vasai court where Sheezan Khan was taken in connection with Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case have shocked netizens.
Sheezan, Tunisha’s Alibaba co-star and ex-boyfriend, was formally charged with abetment of suicide by Tunisha’s mother after she filed a complaint.
According to reports, the actor has been interrogated several times since then. In spite of the ongoing investigation in the case, netizens have pointed out that the actor is being treated rather inhumanely by the authorities. During Sheezan’s court appearance on December 28, he was dragged without shoes on, which has not gone over well with many people.
Khan was dragged barefoot to the court by police authorities while wearing his hoodie to cover his face. Another netizen commented, “So sad to treat him so badly without proof. This is not justice.. this is cruelty.”. Horrified by the visuals, one user wrote, “No shoes or anything? Such an inhuman way to treat anyone.”. Other netizens have also condemned the way they have treated him, calling it “disgusting and shameful.”.
The lawyer for Ali Baba actor Sheezan Mishra has argued that his client is innocent and framed. “They have only known each other for a few months since the serial began. Why is it that things before that aren’t being investigated? She was a precious soul. I don’t want to make any comments that will be misunderstood. It was Sheezan and his family who she spent most of her time with.”
His frame is simply based on the possibility of future pressure. Thus, he was detained unnecessarily. Any angle can be investigated by them. “We are prepared.”
