The number of cases in India has reached 5,15,851 and the total death toll is at 5.16 million people according to the data released by Ministry of Health on Sunday (March 13). Active case numbers are 38,069.
The active Covid-19 caseload shrank by 2,490 cases in just 24 hours.
The total number of recoveries today in the country was 4.24 million, as per statistics from the ministry. The active cases account for 0.09 percent of this number and bring down the national recovery rate to 98%.
The cumulative doses administered in the country so far has exceeded 180.1 cr and 7,617 tests were conducted in just a 24-hour period to detect the presence of the virus.
