The Union Health Ministry updated their data on Monday morning indicating that there have been 4,30,60,086 cases of COVID-19 in a day. This number has now risen to 5,22,223 with 30 fresh fatalities as a result of the disease. The active cases increased by 649 cases from 24 hours ago to 16,522 today. As of Monday afternoon (8 am EST), there were 1862 recoveries from COVID-19 infections! This number is still far lower than the 10 per cent positivity rate which we typically see thoughout the population.
