There have been new allegations that Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered. Previously, Cooper Hospital employee Roopkumar Shah, who claimed to have been part of the team that performed the autopsy on the late actor, claimed that he felt Sushant’s death was a murder, and not a suicide.
As of now, he claims that the autopsy revealed injuries and fractured bones in Sushant.
Roopkumar Shah told India Today he had been told to mind his own business by his seniors when he pointed out Sushant’s injuries. His bones were fractured, and he was injured. I tried to inform my seniors, but they refused to listen and told me to mind my own business, he said. He added, “I was part of the autopsy team, but I can’t recall who was heading it at that time.”
In addition, Sushant’s eyes appeared punched, and his neck showed signs of strangulation, not hanging.
He told that he was part of the autopsy team, which discovered some abnormalities. As a result of a post-mortem, we found out he was Sushant, and there were several marks on his body and two to three on his neck. In order to record the postmortem, higher authorities demanded that only photos of the body be taken. As a result, we followed their instructions.”
Responding to the recent developments, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti urged the central bureau of investigation (CBI) to investigate the murder claim “diligently”. She took to Instagram to share a screenshot of the news which read, “Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered: Autopsy staff makes shocking claim.” Sharing the screenshot, Shweta wrote: “If there is any truth in this evidence, we urge the CBI to investigate it thoroughly.” We have always believed that you guys will do a fair investigation and let us know the truth. Our heart aches to find no closure as of yet. #justiceforsushantsinghrajput.”
