Farooq Abdullah, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister, said that an honest investigation should be held to find out the culprits. The movie is based on a time when Kashmiri Pandits were forced to leave the valley in 1990 due to anti-Pandit policies and violence. Former Governor Jagmohan was there when this happened – he would have told us if it wasn’t true!
