Polish player Swiatek beat first-time Grand Slam single finalist Coco Gauff in 1 hour and 8 minutes. Two years ago, she won her first Grand Slam as an unseeded teenager at Roland Garros. Swiatek wins her second French Open title by winning a stunning 35th consecutive match as the World No.1. She now has the best winning streak of all time. Williams accomplished the feat in 2000.
In her 21st year, Swiatek is the fourth-youngest player to win multiple titles in Paris, behind Monica Seles, Stefanie Graf, and Chris Evert. Since Maria Sharapova won her second Grand Slam title at the 2006 US Open at the age of 19, Swiatek is also the youngest woman to win multiple majors.
