Earthquake rocks North India: tremors felt in Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Jammu-Kashmir.
Chandigarh / New Delhi, 12 Feb: The tremors of the earthquake that came in North India tonight after 10:30 pm have shaken the entire area. These tremors were felt in Delhi, Jammu-Kashmir, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Uttrakhand in addition to Punjab also. The tremors were so terrible and people came out of the houses in fear. It is being told that the epicenter of the earthquake was Afghanistan and Srinagar. People came out of their flats in Zirakpur, known as flat city of Punjab. There are thousands of flats here. Fear of earthquake was found not only in Zirakpur, but also other cities also where there are more flats. The earthquake was measured at a magnitude of 6on the Richter scale.
