Day 2 for the film saw a tremendous growth with Anupam Kher’s film winning big at the box office.

The Kashmir Files, a film by director Ashutosh Gowariker released on March 11 and is experiencing phenomenal success in theaters. Starring Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty in the lead roles, this movie is set during the conflict over Kashmir’s independence from India. The true story of brutal sufferings endured by Kashmiri Pandits back then unfolds before viewers’ eyes as per scheduled release date on its journey to becoming an overwhelming hit at the box office with rave reviews already given out for it so far-go figure!

The Kashmir Files had an extraordinary opening at the box office and earned Rs 3.55 crore on day two, which is more than what it made in its entire first week. On day two, huge crowds reached the theatres to watch this movie that surpassed other films running in theaters in many regions. While The Kashmir Files had a limited release due to demand, numbers of screens and shows have been increased now as well with over 100 screenings per day across India
