Day 2 box office collection for Ajay Devgn’s film is good.

Ajay Devgn’s new film, Runway 34 released on April 29. The aviation thriller opened to a lukewarm response at the box office, but it improved on its second day.

Box office collection for Runway 34 on Saturday, April 30 saw an increase of 55-60 per cent, according to the report. The film reportedly collected Rs 4.75-Rs 5.25 crore at the box office on its second day in theatres and its total collections now stand at Rs 8 crores as well.

Ajay Devgn’s third directorial, Runway 34 enjoys an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani and Carry Minati. The film unfortunately opened with low-scoring figures. However, on Day 2, it picked up pace. Due to positive word of mouth, several people flocked to the theaters to watch the film. Runway 34 is among the rare films to go up by 50 per cent or more on day two. This gives some hope of another jump on Sunday, May 1. The film needs to earn at least Rs 6.50 crore to Rs 6.75 crore on Sunday to give itself a shot of touching the Rs 40-crore mark in its lifetime run.
