The attack on me was mastermind by the state congress goons and not farmers and the state police is responsible for this unfortunate incident to create disharmony in the social fabric of the state. Said Ashwani Sharma state BJP President here today.
Recalling the attack by miscreants on him in Abohar Sharma said that “ farmers are not involved in any way but the state sponsored actors were playing up in the state to create mischief and if his blood will satisfy them then he would be the first to sacrifice his life to maintain peace and harmony in the land of five rivers”.
Sharma also refused police protection and held the DGP responsible for the attack on him and the constant harassment faced by the BJP workers and leaders in the state. “ the police is in total cohorts with the Capt Amrinder Singh led state government and was playing a mute spectator rather than protector of law and order situation in the state.
I absolutely refuse to take police protection from a DGP who has sold his constitutional duty of holding the August office of DGP and leading the police force in a just manner to safe guard the citizens. Said the BJP supremo.
Dubbing the MC elections as a farce in the state the BJP President said that his party candidates were being harassed and victimised and were not allowed to campaign . “ the farmers are just and fare people they do not gherao us its the congress goons who are masquerading as farmers .”
However the people of the state are wise and aware of the petty politics being pursued by Captain Amarinder singh who wants to push Punjab in the dark era of 1984 times. Punjab has suffered and bled and we in the BJP will never allow such gory history to repeat itself. Said Ashwani Sharma.
