Bachchhan Paandey, the film directed by Anurag Kashyap and made on a budget of Rs 130 crore, has reportedly earned a total of Rs 28.55 crore at the domestic box office as of now. It was screened in 3,850 theatres worldwide and generatedRs 43.86 crore till now- making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films ever certified by The Film Certification Board Of India (FBB). On second day its release Bachchan collected an additional Rs 15.30 crores from retail buyers outside India according to latest reports.

Bachchhan Paandey, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and written by Nischay Kuttanda and director Farhad Samji, features Akshay Kumar as the lead. The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, Snehal Daabbi and Saharsh Kumar Shukla. Bachchhan Paandey was earlier set to premiere on December 25th 2020 but the release date was pushed due to a scheduling conflict between Farhad Samji’s directorial project and Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie. Now that it is finally being released theatrically on March 18th 2022- four months after its initially planned release date- it will no doubt be one of the box office hits of this year!
