Attacks on workers; BJP state President Leads a dhara

Chandigarh: 12 July  : The BJP today demonstrated in protest at the brutal attack on its workers in Rajpura and Patiala home town of the Chief Minister and demanded immediate action against the misconduct of the police and the miscreants. Said Mr Ashwani Sharma State President of the BJP

The chief Minister Amarinder Singh was apprised by Ashwani Sharma that unfortunately nearly since one year the BJP workers and leaders were being harassed and intimidated by “ miscreants “ who had political protection. “ the police is playing a mute role repeatedly we have gone and met the SSP’s of the districts were ugly incidents have taken place but not a single arrest has been made of the guilty” rued the state President.

The recent incident of such inhumanness only demonstrates the involvement of police and political nexus. Sharma said that the chief Minister promised that he will personally look into the law and order from here on but we in BJP have told the chief Minister that We will always maintain peace and harmony. However the congress has lost its grip on moral dharma of governance and the situation is deteriorating rapidly in the state.

The politics of hate and blood has no place in our ideology said Mr Ashwani Sharma. The delegation included Mr Iqbal Singh lalpura, Madan Mohan Mittal, Manoranjan Kalia, Dr Shubash Sharma, Jeevan Gupta, Tikahun Sood, Rajesh Baga , Harjit Singh Grewal.
