In a post on social media, Akal Takht expressed solidarity with cricketer Arshdeep Singh, who was being made scapegoat for India’s defeat against Pakistan in Dubai after dropping a catch.

Giani Harpreet Singh, officiating Jathedar of Akal Takht, spoke directly with Arshdeep regarding the development and advised him not to focus on inflammatory content.
