After Ram temple row, country needs peace: Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said on Thursday that issues like the Gynavapi mosque row will ‘break the country.’ He also claims that ‘political benefits’ have been gained from the row.

In comparing the Gyanvapi mosque row to the Ram Mandir dispute in Ayodhya, Sanjay Raut stressed that the ‘country needs peace’ after the Ram temple dispute. “This all is happening to gain political benefits, these issues will break the country,” he said. “Now that Ram temple has been completed, peace is needed.”

‘Ayodhya-like issue’Senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of manipulating the Gyanvapi Masid case and turning it into a ‘Ayodhya-like issue’. The matter is in court, but I will say that the BJP’s position after Ayodhya’s verdict is like a wingless bird as they are unable to fight politics on jobs, inflation, and ‘Achhe din’. As he added, they are looking for another Ayodhya issue to politicize,” he said.

Kashi Vishwanath temple and Gyanvapi mosque are visited by many people.
