Since many students arrived late on the first day, they were allowed to sit in the class without verifying their admission cards. It appears that this student attended the class for four days,” Kumar explained.
College authorities became aware of the situation when the student failed to attend class on the fifth day.
With 245 students, the class began on November 29.
After allotment, students receive an admission card after collecting their records. This student lacked the card. However, all students who arrived at college were allowed to sit in class without verifying the card on the first day,” Kumar said.

As a result, the authorities discovered an extra student had been in the classroom for four days.
